Experience

Mr. Asherman has more than 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He began his career in 1979, serving in a variety of project operations, business development and senior management positions, including a number of regional executive positions in Europe, South America and Asia. In 2001, he joined CB&I as a senior executive in Amsterdam and was promoted to Executive Vice President that same year, reporting directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Asherman was elected to his current position by the Board of Directors in February 2006 and was elected to the Supervisory Board of Directors in July 2006. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and serves as an advisor for the university's Council on Emerging Market Enterprises. He is also a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the National Petroleum Council. Mr. Asherman also serves as an independent Director for the Board of Arrow Electronics Inc., and was elected to the National Safety Council’s Board of Directors in 2014.

Education

Following active duty in the United States Air Force from 1970 to1974, Mr. Asherman graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida. He earned a master's degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and he has completed advanced management programs at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Mr. Taff has more than 30 years of financial and global industry experience. Prior to joining CB&I, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Flowserve Corp. He previously worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at McDermott International Inc., and The Babcock & Wilcox Co., following its spinoff from McDermott. Mr. Taff has held various financial leadership roles at HMT Inc., Philip Services Corp., and British Petroleum Oil Co. He also spent nine years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Education

Mr. Taff holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and is a certified public accountant.

Patrick K. Mullen

Mr. Mullen has more than 25 years of experience in the energy infrastructure business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Mullen served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. He also previously held several positions at Lummus Technology, including Senior Vice President of Business Development and roles in technology sales, technology business group management and head of technology sales/marketing. Mr. Mullen joined CB&I in 2007 through the company’s acquisition of Lummus Global. He has been involved in the refining and petrochemical technology business since 1986, spending the first 12 years of his career at UOP, where he held various positions in research and development, technical service, technology sales and technology management. Mr. Mullen was named to Vectren Corp.’s Board of Directors in 2014.

Mr. Mullen holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.

Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Planning from 2007 to 2013. Mr. Ray joined CB&I in 2003 as Vice President of Global Marketing. Before CB&I, he worked as Executive Director of Strategy and Marketing for Fluor Corp., and he also spent 13 years with Nalco Chemical Co.

Mr. Ray holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and a master's degree in business administration from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Luke V. Scorsone

Mr. Scorsone has 35 years of experience in engineering, fabrication and construction of refining, LNG and gas processing facilities. Prior to his current role, he served as President of the company’s Steel Plate Structures business. He has held a wide range of roles at CB&I, including Group Vice President Upstream Operations, Group Vice President of USA Operations and President of CB&I Howe Baker. Mr. Scorsone joined CB&I in 2001 through the acquisition of Pitt-Des Moines Inc., where he served as President of the company’s industrial business unit.

Daniel M. McCarthy

Experience

Mr. McCarthy has more than 37 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Mr. McCarthy joined the company in November 2007 as part of the acquisition of Lummus Global. Mr. McCarthy joined Lummus in 1974 as a process engineer and was involved in the design of first-of-a-kind plants for the pharmaceutical and inorganic chemical industries. After leading a number of design teams on styrenics projects, he moved into a process licensing role. From 1980-1990, he held various product and regional (Far East) marketing leadership positions. Starting in 1990, he held various general management positions in the Lummus Technology business. In 2006 and 2007, he was responsible for the Lummus Houston EPC Execution Center.

Mr. McCarthy holds bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Pace University in New York.

Mr. Chandler has been licensed to practice law for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and international business transactions. Prior to joining CB&I, he served since 2005 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Smith International Inc., where he was responsible for developing and managing the company’s international legal strategy, including the design and implementation of its legal compliance program. From 1986 to 2005, he served as Vice President and General Counsel of M-I SWACO, a leading supplier of engineered drilling fluid systems and drilling waste management and environmental solutions.

Prior to ConocoPhillips, Ms. Feldman led human resources at Arch Coal Inc., and Solutia Inc., a chemical company spun off from Monsanto Co.

Ms. Feldman earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and human resource management from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. She received a master’s degree in public affairs and industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
