CB&I operate as one company with two global business units, CB&I Asset Solutions based in Aberdeen, Scotland, and CB&I Storage Solutions, based in The Woodlands, Texas. Each business maintains its own delivery accountability within CB&I, enabling focused execution and performance tracking while leveraging CB&I’s corporate functions for strategic alignment, business support and special initiatives.
CB&I Storage Solutions operates as a global entity structured into three regional divisions, offering a comprehensive array of CB&I product lines and services, utilizing its global resources.
The Americas Operations division caters to non-union projects in the United States, as well as projects in Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean with operational hubs across the region. This division focuses on high-volume municipal water systems and industrial markets, with significant involvement in sectors like LNG and petrochemicals. It recently completed projects in hydrogen energy transition, including constructing large-scale storage spheres critical for NASA’s deep space initiatives. Fabrication facilities located in Clive, Iowa, and Houston, Texas, support regional projects and provide delivery of customized solutions tailored to the western hemisphere.
The Union USA and Canada Operations division constitutes CB&I’s union presence in North America. Headquartered in Plainfield, Illinois, this division focuses on projects requiring union labor, with strategic presence in key locations like Everett, Washington, New Castle, Delaware, and various Canadian cities including Edmonton and Calgary. In addition to storage tanks and terminal projects, this division is also specialized in nuclear programs and plays a role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
The Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Australia Operations division is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. Regional offices in Thailand, Seoul, Perth, and Brisbane facilitate response to regional market opportunities. The company also has fabrication capabilities and engineering expertise in Thailand.
Our Asset Solutions’ business is anchored by operational centers in Aberdeen and Woking in the UK, Perth and Brisbane in Australia, and Houston in the US.
