CB&I provides the oil and gas industry with a complete array of offshore solutions that include subsea systems, jackets and topsides, normally unmanned installations (NUIs), floating production storage and offloading units and semi-submersible/tension leg platforms. Providing cutting-edge solutions. Over the years, we’ve helped the world’s largest oil and gas companies plumb new depths—literally. We built the first semi-submersible platform, one of the largest offshore platforms, and the world’s largest single-piece steel structure—a platform for the North Sea. Our projects include 40 offshore platforms, 50 substructures (jackets), 130 semi-submersible/tension-leg platforms and 21 floating production storage and offloading units worldwide.

Today, we’re helping customers develop fields farther offshore and in deeper water than ever before. Many of our projects present special technical challenges; they require facilities that can safely and reliably operate in extreme water conditions and climates. With three decades of offshore EPC experience, we’ve developed extensive in-house expertise and proprietary design, fabrication and construction technologies to address these challenges. Our innovative designs incorporate lighter construction materials, smaller structures, remote-control capabilities and a number of other features that result in durable, reliable and cost-effective offshore systems.

A network of global resources. We aren’t the only engineering company around, but we’re one of only a few that provide a true EPC approach.
