Most people think of "global” and “local” as opposites. But we think of local as an extension of global. Having locations worldwide means we have the reach, the resources and the desire to perform projects almost anywhere. It also means we are thoroughly knowledgeable about the places we work.
Legislation. Regulatory requirements differ from country to country. In most of the locations where we work, we have had a presence for more than fifty years. Our knowledge of local legislation, regulations and politics help us to minimize problems, shorten schedules and reduce costs—even in the most remote locations.
Local labor. As a lump-sum turnkey contractor, we direct-hire local labor whenever possible. Over time, we have established a pool of the best people in the communities where we work; these skilled local craftsmen understand our systems, processes and tools. Hiring local labor leads to better project results and benefits the economy and the people in the communities where we work.
