CB&I offers comprehensive continuous emissions monitoring systems CEMS and solutions designed to meet the needs of clients nationwide. With each system, we can provide engineering, design, integration, installation, startup support, initial calibration and certification testing, upgrades, repairs, replacements, customized reporting and emergency response. CEMS applications include monitoring of NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, O2, Hg, TRS, VOC, NMOC, NH3, HCL, moisture, opacity, volumetric flow and particulate mass flow. COM maintenance and calibration include, but are not limited to, TRI, USI, Durag, Monitor Labs, Lear Siegler and API monitors.
Stack Testing Services
CB&I's dedicated staff of engineers, scientists and technicians have been offering comprehensive emission testing, analysis and reporting services to commercial and government customers since 1971. Stack testing services offer experienced personnel, industry-recognized testing equipment and dual-system mobile laboratories to ensure our customers’ compliance with U.S. EPA, as well as state and local, air quality requirements. Testing is performed on furnaces, boilers, incinerators, SCRs, turbines, flares/thermo oxidizers, cat crackers, tail gas incinerators, wet gas scrubbers, fuel gas systems and process vents. Industry groups served include utilities, refineries, chemical/petrochemical, pulp & paper, automotive, food service, metals/mining, wastewater treatment, and general manufacturing.
Integrated Emissions Solutions (IES)
Our IES group employs existing technologies and/or develops new technologies to provide clients with cost-effective solutions for meeting air, water and soil compliance requirements. The IES team uses an integrated approach by (1) drawing on the expertise of a strategic mix of qualified personnel; (2) using proven, EPA-recognized methods and technologies; and (3) performing testing and analysis of proposed methods in both bench-scale and full-scale field trials under a wide range of process conditions.
